What We Collect

MoodFill collects minimal data to provide our service:

• Account data: When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and profile picture to manage your account.
• Watchlist data: Movies and TV shows you save to your watchlist are stored in our database linked to your account.
• Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool. No personal data is collected or shared with third parties.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not track your browsing activity across other websites.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
• We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics are fully cookieless.
• We do not store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google OAuth.

Third-Party Services

• TMDB API: Movie and TV show data, posters, and streaming availability are provided by The Movie Database (TMDb). We do not share your personal data with TMDb.
• OMDb API: IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic ratings are fetched via OMDb. No user data is shared.
• Google OAuth: Used for authentication only. We receive your name, email, and profile picture.
• Supabase: Our database provider, hosted in EU (Frankfurt). Your data is stored securely with encryption at rest.
• Vercel: Our hosting provider. See Vercel's privacy policy for infrastructure details.

Data Retention

Your account and watchlist data are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
